Mini Slimline Card

The mini slimline card, while not a recent innovation in card making, remains a creative option for crafters. Unlike the standard A2 size, mini slimline cards have unique dimensions and are considered a smaller variant of the traditional slimline card. The measurements for mini slimline cards can differ depending on the manufacturer. For example, companies such as Kat Scrappiness and Waffle Flower commonly use a 3" x 6" format, requiring a 6.25" x 6" card base—an excellent way to utilize 6x6 paper pads.

Another frequently used dimension is 3.5" x 6", preferred by brands including Trinity Stamps, Photoplay, and Gina K Designs. This version necessitates a card base measuring 7" x 6". Additionally, a popular choice among companies like Simon Says Stamp, Taylored Expressions, Gina Marie Designs, Pink Fresh Studio, and Dress My Craft is the 3.25" x 6.25" format, which also requires a 6.25" x 6" card base.

Mini slimline cards are compatible with #6, #6 ¼, and #7 envelopes. It is important to ensure that your card base fits comfortably inside the chosen envelope, allowing extra space if the card includes multiple layers.

One of the primary advantages of mini slimline cards is their suitability for enclosing monetary gifts, making them ideal for occasions such as weddings, baptisms, and birthdays.
